Speaking Voice & Somatic Coaching

Meet Your Voice

Speak with Impact.

High performers ask hard questions. Here are a few about the one tool you use every single day:

Do you find yourself rushing, mumbling, or stumbling over words — even when you know exactly what you want to say?

Do you trail off mid-sentence — and wonder if anyone actually caught what you said?

Do people ask you to repeat yourself or speak up — even when you thought you were?

Have you ever said to yourself or someone else, "I hate my voice," or "I don't like the way my voice sounds?"

Before a high-stakes presentation or critical meeting, do you find yourself ungrounded — managing nerves instead of leading with confidence?

If any of these questions stopped you, this work is for you.

Parasitic tension is
holding your voice hostage.

Unconscious gripping in the jaw, throat, and chest restricts sound and steals your confidence. It has nothing to do with what you're saying — it's what your nervous system learned to do. The body can unlearn it.

Tension Traps Resonance

When you are anxious, can you feel what happens to your body? Your voice? Have you ever wondered how to interrupt or change that?

🌀
The Body Holds What the Mind Forgets

Have you ever walked out of a stressful moment and realized you were barely breathing? What if your body has been holding that stress for years?

✦
Confidence Follows Release

What if confidence isn't something you have to perform — but something that simply appears when the tension is gone? That voice is already inside you. We just have to make room for it.

The Method

Three phases.
Every session.

01
Visceral Check-In

Scan for where you're holding tension today — jaw, throat, chest, belly. Precise somatic inventory, not meditation.

02
Somatic Release

Guided exercises release your specific tension. Each one teaches the body a new way to breathe and let sound move freely.

03
Apply to Speaking

You speak from the released state and feel firsthand how differently your voice sounds, feels, and lands in the room.

About

Quentin Lee Moore

Quentin Lee Moore attended the University of South Carolina, where he studied Biology/Pre-Med and minored in Psychology. He competed on a full track and field scholarship and earned All-SEC, All-Region, and All-American honors as team captain. He went on to coach track athletes as well as professional football, basketball, and baseball players at the high school level, and later spent five years as a personal and group trainer at Blink Fitness in New York City — building the coaching foundation that would carry into his acting and voice-coaching career.

After undergrad, Quentin went on to train as an actor at the Atlantic Theater Conservatory — an acting school founded by William H. Macy and David Mamet, and home to acclaimed artists including Stephanie Hsu, Giancarlo Esposito, and Elizabeth Olsen. He has performed original works in Toronto, London, and at The Public Theater in New York, and appeared on Law & Order: Organized Crime. While training at the Atlantic, the head of the voice coaching program, Katie Bull — whose clients include Kerry Washington — asked Quentin to become her protégé, drawn by his vocal insight and curiosity. He agreed, and his life was forever changed.

As a voice coach, Quentin has worked on and off-Broadway (including Ain't Too Proud: The Temptations Musical, Seagull: True Story, and The Monsters), with NYU students, at his alma mater the Atlantic Theater Conservatory, and with corporate professionals all around the world (Australia, El Salvador, the UK, Canada, South Africa, and beyond) seeking greater confidence and presence in the workplace.

Quentin's journey into the professional realm began during the pandemic, when widespread uncertainty heightened everyone's unconscious tension — and began to trap the voice. He observed that employees and leaders alike were struggling to release the weight of the unknown, and that this holding was silencing them. By helping people return to their bodies and anchor themselves in the present moment, he discovered that the voice followed — freer, fuller, and more their own.
